"One Click Too Far." How to Defend Yourself Against Cyber Threats?

As Jędrzej Trzciński, CyberSecurity Expert, Security Consultant at T-Mobile Polska Business Solutions , pointed out during the "Cybersecurity" debate at the New Industry Forum , in order to be cybersecure, we need to think about this problem on many levels, we need to build security on many levels.
One of the key tasks is to build awareness of what cyber threats are.
- For example, one of the issues is the proper use of equipment - Trzciński emphasized.
He pointed out that companies build ultra-safe factories, but at home, employees may no longer care about following proper procedures.
- In such a case, we can talk about just one click "too far" - added the specialist.
In today's world, it's crucial to cultivate safe behaviors. Separating work and personal life is even necessary.
"We need to build infrastructure that's suitable for both attacks and failures, because they're often the same thing. Fortunately, we're seeing changes. Fear is slowly starting to creep into management boards, who are wondering what to do to avoid making excuses, because the threats are already visible," said Trzciński.
Especially as new attack methods emerge. One such example could be the use of artificial intelligence . How does it work?
"If an attacker captures a workstation, the AI analyzes what's best for the attack to succeed. There's no longer any human involvement, only artificial intelligence. Attacks of this type can be repeated to ensure the attacker achieves their goals," the expert admitted.
